| Abstract: | An experimental study has been done on how the rigidity and menial parameters of design inhomogeneities affect the dynamic deformation in a spherical shell on account of an explosion at the center in a spherical charge of condensed explosive. The dynamic response in particular includes a cyclic increase in the oscillation amplitude (pumping effect), but it is substantially dependent on the size and mass of the design inhomogeneities.
