Abstract:In order to strengthen the application of TRIZ (Tip for innovation problem solving) in biomedical engineering (BME) and promote two way interaction and development of TRIZ and BME, the application of TRIZ in BME was summarized and a general process of using TRIZ in BME was constructed based on the theoretical basis, application and analysis tools, knowledge database of TRIZ. 〖JP2〗This process was then applied in the design of a respiratory gases sampling and enrichment device and an expected result was obtained.It provides the references for the designers use of TRIZ in the field of BME.
