Abstract:In the process of preparing ZrO_2(Y_2O_3) prowders by the stepwisc precipitationmethod,the effects of PEG surface active agent on the modification of powder pro-perties have been studied.The result indicates that when PEG content added is 10wt%,the dispersive ability of PEG will be improved with increase in its molecularweight.The distribution of pores can be regulated by changing the content of PEG.The powder modified by PEG with MW=1540,and 5 wt% possesses much higherproperties than bare powder.The former has narrow distribution of pores(>1000(?) only 2 vo1%) and tiny pore size compared with the latter.
