| Abstract: | The analytical formula of the ninth order aberration was derived in terms of the eighth order field parameters.The formula can be of much technical interest in the development of the super large screen color picture tube.For instance,it provides an theoretical tool in evaluating the misconvergence occurring on the edges and at the corners of the color picture tube. |
