Abstract:CeCl3 was introduced into electroless Ni-P bath so as to increase the deposition rate and improve the corrosion resistance of the Ni-P coating.The effects of CeCl3 on the surface morphology and composition were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy,and the corrosion behavior of the electroless Ni-P coating in 3.5% NaCl solution was evaluated by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.Results show that CeCl3 can accelerate the deposition,reduce the amount of defects and increase the c...
