| Abstract: | Breakout in Yingkou Plate Co. , Ltd, Minmetals occuring under the mould exit in the secondary cooling zone was caused by submerged nozzle bottom falling down. It led to the vertical surface cracking of the strand first, and then breakout occurred. The causes of the breakout are analyzed. |
