| Abstract: | A study on the weldability of B30-alloy cladded steel plate was conducted. Special attention was paid to the filler materials and the corrosion test of welded joints. By metallographic examination and SEM analysis, the buttering material was selected and from corrosion tests, the corrosion-resistance of several joints made by various filler wires were compared. From those, the proper welding variables were determined and the best one among all the tested buttering materials was four.d out. With a great success, the results obtained in this research has been applied to the fabrication of an evapovater chamber cf an 100,000 ton vacuum-salf-refinery. |
