国外热中子照相技术在锂离子电池无损检测中的应用

摘    要:热中子照相作为一种快速、直观的无损检测技术,是实时、原位检测锂离子电池内部宏观变化的重要工具。文章概述了热中子照相技术的基本原理及优异特性,着重介绍了国外利用热中子照相开展锂离子电池研究的进展情况,并对今后国内开展此领域研究的可行性作了概要评述。

Abstract:Thermal Neutron radiography(TNR) is a useful and nondestructive method for in situ investigation of macroscopic changes inside the lithium-ion batteries during electrochemical cycling. The principles and favorable properties of TNR is introduced in brief, and then the progresses of application of TNR for research in lithium-ion cells are reviewed, including in situ measurement of the movement and distribution of lithium ions, the consumption of electrolyte, the gas evolution rate and spatial distribution, etc. The possibility of application of TNR at this field in China in the future is also discussed.
