| Abstract: | The AAUP not only helps to make it a necessary procedure to dismiss any teachers in universities, but also impels academic freedom and tenure to become the American university systems. The article probes into the reasons why the AAUP can maintain American professors' occupational rights and interests, .The author considers that following factors are attributable to this fact, such as the characteristics of the AAUP, the American judicial system that is dominated by Case Law, American university and social tradition, American social circumstances. |
