| Abstract: | The nucleation mechanism of intragranular ferrite in inclusions was discussed from aspects of interfacial energy,the strain energy during cooling due to the difference of thermal expansion coefficients between inclusion and matrix and the solute depletion zone around the inclusions. The possible factors related to the ferrite nucleation in order to identify the roles of various inclusions on the intra-granular ferrite transformation were also analyzed. |
