基于SVM的移动机器人路标识别算法

摘    要:提出一种基于支持向量机的移动机器人路标识别算法,其利用SVM分类器对大量的交通标志进行识别。该方法对于场景光线强度变化,图像存在形变以及路标存在阴影遮挡和距离较远等情况都具有学习能力与容错性。实验结果表明,基于SVM的移动机器人路标识别分类器在复杂的室外环境下是有效的、具有鲁棒性的。

Abstract:A waymark recognition algorithm for mobile robot based on Support Vector Machine (SVM) is proposed. Its process traffic sign uses SVM classification. The method shows its learning ability and fault tolerance in various circumstances such as different light intensity, image distortion, shadowing and long shooting distance. Experiment results show the waymark' s classification is efficient and it has robustness in complicated outdoor environment.
