| Abstract: | U.S.launched dual range missile program and dual role air dominance missile program respectively in order to maintain its air superiority.The two programs are introduced in this paper,and the reasons why the dual role missile is substituted for the dual range one are analyzed.Finally,some suggestions are proposed for the development of our new generation air-to-air missile. |
