Abstract:This paper describes the optical fiber of laser firing and initiation system (LFIS). Effects of optical fiber on initiating threshold of CP explosive and B/KNO 3 ignition powder are studied by experiments. The close relationship between fiber diameter and energy threshold is discussed based upon theoretical analysis and experimental results.
