| Abstract: | Related to the dynamic failure of a bracking part in a weapon system,this paper studies the dynamic plastic response of a simply suportted beam with a mass block under impulsive loading.The solutions for entire dynamic response are obtained.Some important parameters which incluence the period of deformation,the final deflection of the beam and the distribution of disspated energy are discussed. |
