摘    要:采用高速录像测试技术研究了瞬态电弧等离子体射流在液体中连续膨胀扩展的序列过程,给出等离子体射流在液体中形成的泰勒空腔结构特征、膨胀规律以及在等离子体-液体相互作用面上的传热传质现象.通过对照片的分析确定了泰勒空腔的扩展速度,提出了两相流体在界面上的相互作用机理.作为对比,研究了相同喷嘴结构下的火药气体射流在液体中的扩展过程.研究结果表明高温等离子体射流在液体中膨胀时形成一个逐步扩展的泰勒空腔,在两相相互作用界面上存在强烈的传热传质过程;相同当量能量条件下等离子体射流的比冲远高于常规火药燃气.

Abstract:The consecutive expansion process of arc plasma jets in liquid are studied by means of fast framing camera system. The expansion characters and structures of Taylor cavities produced by plasma jets expanding in liquid are visualized, and the heat and mass transfer on the interaction surface of plasma liquid are described. On the basis of the fast framing pictures' analysis, the frontal velocities of Taylor cavity are measured, and the interaction mechanism between plasma jets and liquid is presented. The expansion processes of combustion gases of propellants are studied under identical condition. The studies indicate that a gradually expansional Taylor cavity will be formed when the high temperature plasma jets expanding in water. There are intensely mass and heat transfer in the interaction surface, and the specific impulses of plasma jets are higher than combustion gases.
