| Abstract: | An outline is given of the trends as revealed by some decades′ evolution of oversea medium and high speedmarine diesel engines with high performance and high BMEP while presentation is focused on the efforts and achievementshaving been made in improving their reliability, part-load characteristic and exhaust emission over the years. Moreover,illustration is made of some representative R&D systems and applied software packages related to such engine development. |
