| Abstract: | The characteristics of rail lines in South Xinjiang and the operation status of DF_(8B) locomotive were represented in brief.The refinements in design made for eliminating the main problems encountered in use on the lines were described in detail,and the traction mode of DF_(8B) locomotive running on the lines in South Xinjiang and possible further design refinements were discussed. |
