探微英国高等教育理念下建筑院校的教学特色

英国是世界上最早实行高等教育的国家之一,该国高等建筑教育以其高质量的教学水平和不竭的创新能力,享有良好的国际声誉。以谢菲尔德大学建筑学院为例,通过对其教育理念的分析,探讨在自由教育与科学教育相结合的思想指引下,从培养目标、教学思想、教授方法、学习方式、质量管理、教育环境六个方面结合课程实践阐述英国建筑院校的教学特色;最后对国内建筑学教学的若干方面进行了思考,为国内的建筑教育改革提供参照。

The Research on the Teaching Characteristics of Architectural Faculties under the Concept of Higher Education in UK

Britain is one of the earliest countries that had implemented higher education. The higher architectural education e njoys a good international reputation with its level of quality teaching and an inexhaustible ability to innovate in the country. Based on the analysis of the concept of higher education, that is the idea of combining the freedom of education and science education in UK,six aspects are described being combined with curriculum practice, from the training objectives, teaching thought, teaching methods, learning styles, educational environment and quality management, taking the School of Architecture of the University of Sheffield as an example. That shows the teaching characteristics of traditional architectural faculties in UK. At last, several aspects of the architecture teaching of domestic architecture schools are thought. The research results are helpful to provide reference for reforming domestic architectural discipline.
