改革开放以后,人居环境系统研究得以起步并迅速发展,其研究成果主要体现在探索理想人居环境模式、城市人居环境、社区人居环境、小城镇人居环境、古城镇人居环境和人居环境评价共6个领域,并且呈现出六大明显的趋势,即规划-建筑-园林"三位一体"、人与自然协调、人本主义趋向、重视传统思想体系、应用高新技术、科学与艺术融合.

Development of Theoretical Study on Human settlement in China Since Reform and Opening Up

Ever since reform and opening up, study on human settlement systematic has been started and developed rapidly. The result of the study is mostly reflected in the quest for an ideal pattern of human settlement, urban human settlement, com- munity human settlement, small town human settlement, old town human settlement and human settlement evaluation, etc. The study presents it- self in six major tendencies, namely, the "three-in- one" of planning-architecture-gardens, harmony between man and nature, tendency of humanism, recognition of traditional thinking system, applica- tion of new and high technology and integration of science and art, etc.
