Xinjiang Mining Exploitation Growing Vigorously

Xinjiang construction keeps booming driven by "Western Development" strategy and "Assistance for Xin Xinjiang" policy. e in nite commercial opportunities from large- area and rick-resource Xinjiang is turning from "prospecting" to "reality." Especially the mine industry in Xinjiang attracts the most interests of many merchants. The predicted resource a mounts of oi l, gas a nd coa l in Xinjiang separately account for more than 30%, 34% and 40% of total onshore resource in the country. ese resources will play a major role in Xinjiang construction. The overall planning of mine elds in Xinjiang has been completed and the construction of Zhundong, Tuha, Yili and Kubai bases has been initiated. It is predicted that the annual coal production capacity of Xinjiang in 2012 will reach 400 million tons, 660 million tons in 2015 and 1.23 billion tons in 2020.
