| Abstract: | Based on a successful application case of combined support of root pile and anchor pole in a soil foundation pit engineering, the conclusion that root pile can be used in foundation pit reinforcement is made. Root pile has the obvious advantages of small diameters, manoeuvrable characteristic and low cost. |
