结合我国国情，针对城市化带来的危害，介绍了生态城市的内涵和主要特点，指出建设生态城市是城市发展的必然。参照国外生态城市的要求，阐述了我国构建生态城市的步骤、阶段和具体措施，以期促进我国生态城市建设进程。

Combining with Chinese national situation, and aiming at the damage resulted from urbanization, the author introduces the content and main characteristics of the ecological city, points out that building ecological city is the necessity of the city development, referring to the requirements of ecological city at home and abroad, describes the steps, stages and concrete measures of establishing ecological city in China, so as to promote the building procedures of Chinese ecological city.
