| Abstract: | This paper discusses the limitation or the lack of the present methods for determining basic sizes of a disc cam with a translating follower by allowable pressure angle, corrects the mistakes in some methods, and gives a simple numerical method which is correct and practical, and a graphic method for solving the problem. |
