高精度磁测技术在塞拉利昂北方省GPAFAYA铁矿勘查中的应用

摘    要:塞拉利昂GPAFAYA铁矿位于西非太古宙绿岩带内,处于苏拉山—坎格瑞丘陵弧形构造带北北西向转折部位,该区成矿条件优越,以盛产金、铁而闻名。区域上位于NHC5航磁异常区,通过高精度磁异常测量,圈定南北矿段(Ⅰ和Ⅱ) 2个异常带和4个异常段,其中Ⅰ号异常带规模巨大,经过地质调查验证,I-1强磁异常段对应的铁矿体规模巨大,矿石质量优良。该文根据GPAFAYA矿区铁矿找矿成果,结合航磁异常特征,从矿床、矿体地质特征等方面对高精度磁测在铁矿找矿中的有效性进行评价。发现航磁异常是BIF型铁矿在区域上最有效的找矿标志,高精度磁测可以作为铁矿体空间形态和矿石质量的重要判断依据。

Abstract:GPAFAYA iron deposit in Sierra Leone is located in the Archean Greenstone Belt of West Africa and the north-west turning point of the Sulla-Kangre hilly arc tectonic belt. The mining area is located in the NHC5 aeromagnetic anomaly area. Two anomaly zones and four anomaly zones of the north-south ore segment (I and II) have been delineated by high-precision magnetic anomaly survey, the I-1 strong magnetic anomaly section corresponds to a large-scale iron ore body with good ore quality. Based on the results of iron ore prospecting in GPAFAYA mining area. Combined with the aeromagnetic anomalies, from the deposit and ore body geological, evaluation the effectiveness of high-precision magnetic survey in iron exploration. Found that Aeromagnetic anomaly is the most effective prospecting indicator for BIF type iron ore in the region, and high-precision magnetic survey can be used as an important basis for judging the spatial shape and ore quality of iron ore body.
