Abstract:The effects of high temperature on compressive strength of concrete are studied. An electronic oven of the type of KJX?45?9 is used in the test. Some specimens are cooled down in nature circumstance after high temperature; others are cured in standard room. The behaviors of concrete under different conditions are discussed in details. It includes the temperature, stock?still time, cooling modes, and curing circumstances. At last,a formula for the compressive strength of concrete is proposed in the paper.
