| Abstract: | Through a series of prototype and model tests of pile groups in different kinds of soils, the pile group effects of shaft resistance, point resistance, soil resistance beneath cap, and load - bearing capacity under vertical load have been revealed . Based on the experimental results, some problems on the concept design of pile group foundation are discussed. |
