The Inheritance and Development of Tibet Traditional Architectural Culture——Design Report of the Convention Center of Lhasa-Jiangsu Ecological Garden

This paper takes the design of the Convention Center of Lhasa-Jiangsu Plateau Ecological Garden as an example.Through illustrating the concept and methods of this design,it mainly analyzes how to express the traditional Tibetan architectural culture in the design of local modern architecture.During the process of exploring modern Tibetan architectural design,we should learn the traditional culture,interpret the history and then use it in the specific design.This paper also discusses the inheriting of traditional architectural cultural spirit and the design of modern architecture should use the experience of the inner spatial organization and outer configuration of Tibetan conventional architecture,to create the architectures that coordinate with spirit of Tibetan architecture.
