Regionality is one of the most basic charac-ters of architecture, which was, however, neglected duringthe development of modern architecture. In this article, com-bining with the practice in designing Jiuzhaigou Interna-tional Hotel, the author analyzes the problems of applyingdesign concept of regionalism to modern architecture andemphasizes on the importance of regional architecture inthe trend toward globalization as well.
