Abstract:In fact the House Dispute of the Four Season Garden Town in Wuhan reflects the awkward present situation of public participation in our country. The procedure is not democratic, the mechanism is imperfect and the regulations are not regularly, these are three obstacles for the guarantee of public interest in urban planning. The theory and practice in the advanced country's public participation provides us the reference. The step of public participation in China should be made faster, and the system of public management should be strengthened, getting the guarantee for public interest in the system.
