论北京旧城保护与城市文化发展

2002年,《北京历史文化名城保护规划》的出台不仅将北京的历史文化保护区扩展到40片,而且明确提出北京作为我国历史文化名城的集中体现,是中华民族城市文明的重要标志与文化遗产,应高度重视北京历史文化名城保护工作。在这样一个背景下,北京旧城区的更新与发展问题受到各界越来越多的关注。本文在总结以往北京旧城保护与建设相关理论和经验的基础上,分析城市文化对于城市形象的重要性,重在提出建立北京旧城新形象的两大策略。
