By analyzing the origin, evolvement and merit of a few technical terms such as gardens, landscape and landscape architecture, this paper points out that the integration is the outstanding characteristic of landscape architecture. The Chinese landscape architecture has long time traditional special features of its own dialectic integration and practical and realistic methods.
