无锡近代园林调查

无锡是民族工商业的发源地,20世纪初,出现了众多的民族工商业家,他们致富后,纷纷在惠山、太湖边建造私家别墅,作为会客、度假之用,时间集中于20世纪初至30年代,数量多达10多个.近代无锡经济的崛起,带动了园林建设的兴盛,由乡绅集资建造的公花园及政府建设的惠山公园也在这个时期出现,开中国“公园”建设之先河.共调查了近代私家园林12个,公共园林2个,并进行历史沿革和造园特色的分析,最后总结出无锡近代园林的特有价值和魅力.

A Research on Modern Gardens in Wuxi

Wuxi is the cradle of national industry and commerce.During the early 20th century,some firstly rich industrialists and businessmen built many gardens around Taihu Lake and Huishan Mountain,and those gardens were used for holiday or meeting.Meanwhile Wuxi also had public gardens built by gentry and Huishan Garden built by Wuxi government,which was the first place to advocate "public gardens".This paper totally investigated 12 private gardens and 2 public gardens,and studies their historical development and building features completely,and then analyzes special value and glamor of Wuxi modern gardens.
