| Abstract: | To determine the reasonable area of the foundation at the part of intersection of strip foundation,which was considered repeatedly,this article presents the direct calculation methods of rational width of strip foundation to satisfy the equalities of affixed stress at the bottom of the foundation at each strip foundation under each wall,and gives a simplified formula which is exact,concise and practical and can save reasonably amount of design works. |
