Abstract:In order to evaluate the seismic performance of HR-EPS(Hai Rong-Expanded Polystyrene) module shear wall structure, seismic behaviors of full-scale HR-EPS module shear walls were evaluated under different reinforcement ratio and axial compression ratio through a combination of the experimental study and numerical simulation. The results show that the horizontal bearing capacity of full-scale HR-EPS module shear wall increases obviously with the increase in the wall reinforcement ratio. The stiffness, displacement ductility coefficient and energy consumption capacity of full-scale HR-EPS module shear wall increase while the stiffness degradation rate decreases with the increase in the wall reinforcement ratio. The results of simulation are basically consistent with experiment, and the energy consumption capacity and stiffness of specimen can be improved by increasing axial compression ratio properly, and the seismic performance is improved at the same time. The calculation formula for shear bearing capacity of full-scale HR-EPS module shear wall is deduced according to the results and existing formulas.
