| Abstract: | Progress has been made recently in tke development of fast photomultipliers. In this paper three types of sub-nanosecond time resolution photomultipliers are reviewed. The microchannel plate tubes provide a fast pulse response with high linear currents. Up to 187 ps FWHM has been obtained. |
