川西坳陷深层具有大型油气藏形成的基本地质条件，勘探实践也证实了深层上三叠统须家河组巨大的天然气资源潜力，具有广阔的勘探前景和开发效益，是21世纪资源接替的重要领域，加强、加快深层勘探是中石化西南分公司面向新世纪的重要勘探战略。川西坳陷的深层勘探部署须遵循以大型正向构造带组为主,兼顾凹陷和斜坡;以构造圈闭为主,兼顾非构造圈闭;以须家河为主,兼顾海相领域的基本思路，通过实施资源进攻型战略，加大勘探投入，加快勘探节奏，做好相应的技术储备及应对措施，可望在不久实现勘探目标：获得油气地质储量1000×１０8m3,其中探明储量500×108m3;发现2个大、中型油气藏。

PROSPECTS AND COUNTERMEASURE AGAINST DEEP NATURAL GAS EXPLORATION IN WEST SICHUAN DEPRESSION

The deep burial strata in West Sichuan Depression are of the basic geological conditions of forming large sized oil/gas reservoirs.In the depression,the deep Xujiahe Formation of Upper Triassic,which giant gas resource potential was proved by exploration works,is possessed of a vast range of exploration prospects and development benefits and is an important resource succeeding domain in the 21 st century,therefore it is an important exploration strategy in the new century faced by the Southwest Branch Co.of Sinopec to strengthen and speed up the deep natural gas exploration.The basic ideas of deploying the deep natural gas exploration in West Sichuan Depression include to give first place to positive structural belts while making sags and slopes subsidiary;to give first place to structural traps while making non structural traps subsidiary;and to give first place to Xujiahe Formation while making marine strata subsidiary.Through carrying out offensive resource strategy,enlarging exploration input,speeding up exploration rhythm and doing one's best at relevant technical reserve and correspouding measures,the exploration targets for obtaining oil/gas reserves in place of 100×109m3(including proved reserves of 50×109m3) and two large and medium sized oil/gas reservoirs will be hopefully realized in the near future.
