Formation Damage and Protect Measures About CO2 Flooding

As a special phenomena, bitumen and paraffin sedimentation occur during CO 2 flooding, this article analyzes the mechanism and affecting factors of sedimentation, pay emphasis on introducing chemical method(add inhibitor) to eliminate sludge. Tersely illustrates the forming mechanism of gas cutting and gas coning with their reasonable gas flooding technology, measures of preventing impurities in water and CO 2 causing the damage of reservoir; it analyzes the factor that affecting CO 2 and water generating carbonic acid, and the measures to prevent corrosion.
