| Abstract: | m-Chloro-peroxybenzoic acid was synthesized with hydrogen peroxide (30%), potassium hydroxide and m-chloro -benzoyl chloride as primary material and methanol and chloroform as solvent. The effect of the amount of hydrogen peroxide, potassium hydroxide, and methanol on the yield of product was discussed. |
