| Abstract: | This paper briefly introduces the new technique of cold dissolved hydrocarbon analysis and the surface geochemical characteristics of cold dissolved hydrocarbon, discusses the application of this technique in oil field development and in petroleum geochemical exploration such as pretroleum prospecting prediction, hydrocarbon migration and reservoir evaluation, analysis of maturity of organic material and oil source correlation etc. |
