摘    要:以二烯丙基甲基十六烷基溴化铵(C16DMHB)为疏水单体,与丙烯酰胺(AM)和2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸(AMPS)在水溶液中通过自由基聚合合成了疏水缔合聚合物,采用红外光谱对合成的聚合物进行了结构表征.最佳反应条件为:疏水单体C16DMHB的摩尔含量为0.4%,AMPS的摩尔含量为15%,单体总质量为20%,引发剂用量为2.5%(以单体的总质量计)最佳反应温度为45℃,最佳pH值为7~9.研究表明,聚合物的临界缔合浓度在1.8 g/L左右,扫描电镜表征了溶液的微观结构,溶液表观粘度随温度升高而降低,表现剪切稀释性.

Synthesis and solution properties of hydrophobically associating polymer

Abstract:A hydrophobically associating copolymer was synthesized by free radical copoly- merization in aqueous solution using AM AMPS and C16DMHB as monomers. The structure of the polymer was determined by FT-IR. The optimal reaction conditions were that the mo- lar ratio of AM, AMPS and C16DMHB was 84.6:15:0.4, the total monomer concentration in water was 20 % (w/w) and the initiator concentration was 0.25 % (w/w) relative to the monomer feed,the temperature was 45 ~C and the pH ranged from 7 to 9. The scanning electron microscopy(SEM) was used to study the network structure. And all the results show that the critical associating concentration appeared when the mass concentration was close to 1.8 g/L. The viscosity declined slowly with temperature rising and the solution exhibited shear thinning behavior.
