新型表面施胶配方的原理及应用

摘    要:介绍了美国Sartomer公司开发的两种新型表面施胶产品苯乙烯-马来酸酐共聚物表面施胶剂SMA树脂和新型表面施胶分散体STARCOTE的结构特点,通过实验说明SMA树脂显著提高了纸张的抗水性、喷墨打印适性、孔隙率及摩擦系数:通过实验和工厂案例说明STARCOTE分散体改善了纸张的抗水性、喷墨打印适性及色料附着性。指出SMA和STARCOTE具有良好的施胶特性、喷墨打印适性、选择配方的灵活性和商业可行性。

Abstract:Two kinds of new-type surface sizing agent developed by the Sartomer Company of U.S.A.] Styrene Maleic Anhydride copolymer surface sizing agent (SMA(r) Resin) and a new-type surface sizing dispersion (STARCOTE(r))were presented in this paper. Their structure properties were introduced at first, then through the experiment, the benefit of SMA(r) Resin in improvement of water-resistance, ink-jet printability, porosity and coefficient of friction of treated paper was explained;and through the laboratory experiment and commercial use,the improvement of water-resistance, ink-jet printability and toner adhesion of paper by the STARCOTE(r) dispersion was introduced. Finally the conclusion was drawn that the SMA(r) Resin and STARCOTE(r) dispersion provide excellent sizing, ink-jet printability to the paper and have formulation flexibility and commercial feasibility.
