海南甘蔗育种场斑茅研究利用

摘    要:海南甘蔗育种场自1956年起开展甘蔗与斑茅杂交利用的研究,1973年选育出斑茅第1代真杂种(F1),2001年育成斑茅杂种2代(F2或BC1)真杂种。斑茅蔗F1杂种的杂交可育性差,回交成功率低。在斑茅高贵化过程中,糖分的改良速度较快,但小茎、高纤维和蒲心等不良性状的改良进展较慢。

Abstract:Hainan Sugarcane Breeding Station initiated sugarcane introgression with Erianthus arundinaceus in 1956. The first batch of F1 hybrids from S. officinarum E. arundinaceus were obtained in 1973, and the BC1 progeny were produced in 2001. It proved difficult to produced BC1 progeny due to sterile or poor fertility of Erianthus F1 hybrids. During the nobilization process, rapid progress is gained in sugar content, but improvement in thin and pithy stalks, high fiber percent remained relatively slow.
