| Abstract: | Bentonite is of valuable performance in application for its favorable adsorptivity, ion exchangeability and dilatability endowed withits specific crystal structure. The research and development in the application of bentonite in various trades is of great significance for thetransition of the bentonite resource superiority into favorable economic superiority. This paper mainly introduces the application of bentonite inpulp and paper industry, including as retention aid, filtration aid and additives for wastewater treatmeat, pitch control, deinking, as well ascoated paper to further enhance the application of bentonite in pulp and paper industry. |
