As the market for core-spun yarn is enlarging and the quality of textile products is upgrading,covered yarn is required to have higher and more stable quality.In the article, the covering effect is measured by using video zoom microscope.The test results show that such method is character- ized by easy operation and high accuracy and suitable for measuring the covering effect of core-spun yarn.The factors that influence the covering effect of core-spun yarn and the effect of covering thickness on the quality of core-spun yarn are also analyzed.
