| Abstract: | Owing to the unique chemical properties as well as the special physiological and pharmaceutical function of phytic acid, it covers all aspects of human life, such as industry, agriculture, food, medicine, domestic chemistry, metallic anticorrosion, and so on. The development and utilization of phytic acid, as a green project, has a vast prospect. This paper reviews the properties, preparation and application of phytic acid, and the action mechanism is also elucidated. |
