Study on determination of heavy metal limit in feed additive by turbidimetric method

Using different sample pretreatment methods,and using thioacetamide solution and sodium sulfide solution as the developer,the formulation method of the limit test of heavy metals in feed additives was studied.The visual detection limits of thioacetamide turbidimetric method and sodium sulfide turbidimetric method were 4μg(lead content)/tube and 3μg(lead content)/tube.For the above two turbidimetric methods,there was a good linear relationship between lead content and absorbance in the range of 0μg/tube-40μg/tube(r>0.99).For different samples added with heavy metals,the heavy metal pollution can be detected by thioacetamide turbidimetric method and sodium sulfide turbidimetric method.The method has been applied to the determination of heavy metals in various feed additive products,and the results are accurate and reliable.
