| Abstract: | Low consistency refining experiment of straw pulp with three different disc refiner plates which were made of the same material and had the same plate pattern and various plate bar height was carried out.The effect of refiner plate bar height decreasing and the plate groove depth decreasing which were caused by wearing during the refining on the pulp quality and energy consumption was investigated by the imitating study.The results showed that the best pulp strength development and the less energy consumption were realized when bar height ranged from 9. 3mm to 10. 3mm. |
