| Abstract: | The features of the worsted spinning process and artificial neural networks are introduced. The working principle of the networks in predicting the quality of worsted yarns and constructing method of the networks are put forward. Also, examples of the neural network application abroad and inland and realization approaches are offered. It is pointed out that artificial neural networks have a wide prospect in predicting the quality of yarns. |
