略论我国近代教科书的插图设计

插图设计是教科书装帧艺术的重要内容。在中国近代教育文化转型的过程中,新式教科书的插图设计伴随着教科书出版的逐渐成熟而不断发展,其中,近代插图艺术家发挥了重要的推动作用。20世纪30年代,教科书插图设计在实践的基础上开始了理论上的探索,集中探讨了插图的功能、设计、排列等系列问题。回顾这一历程,拟对当前教科书的插图设计提供历史的镜鉴。
