Abstract:Objective To establish a pre-column derivatization HPLC method for the determination of cyanide in liquor.Methods An HPLC method was applied,using isonicotinic acid-barbituric acid as precolumn derivatization agent.Phenomenex Gemini C18(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm)column was adopted,using 1%acetic acid-acetonitrile(50:50)at the flow rate of 1.0 ml/min as mobile phase.The detection wavelength was set at 600 nm.Results The calibration curve was linear over the concentration range of 0.5-40μg/L for cyanide derivatives.The correlation coefficients of cyanide derivatives were greater than 0.9998.The limit of detection was 0.5μg/L.The average recoveries of cyanide were 96.7%for white spirits,95.7%for beer and 96.3%for wine(n=9).Conclusion The developed HPLC method is accurate,sensitive,stable and has good sample applicability.It can supply reference for improvement of the determination standard of cyanide in liquor.
